My Vacation

Creature From The Haunted Sea Poster 1 Pictures, Images and Photos

And I sat in my beach chair and wondered. What about that ending of the Awakening? What if I were to simply walk into the sea? Just breathe in the salt and cease to be?

And then one of the sticky things that calls me mommy said "Mommy?"

And it was with a heavy heart that I realized I would never be free... to walk into the sea.

Oh those sticky things...
Hauntingly done (again)
I'm dying to post a poem by Lucille Clifton and probably can't because of copyright, but I think you will love it-- "blessing the boats (at St. Mary's)" Hope you can find it.

The sea, enough treasures hold, some jewels are land bound, meant to be.

Very nice! Dark and beautiful as always.

Just remember... those sticky things won't be sticky forever! I am living in un-sticky bliss, though the older ones come with their own set of problems ;)

I would often pull off to the side of a country road and gaze into the woods. I wanted so badly to just walk in there and disappear. But life called and I answered.

Ah a short post, but very powerful. Maybe it's a good thing though not being free to disappear. We always want what we don't have, but some things we'd miss too much if they were gone.
