Blink

Vintage Typewriter Pictures, Images and Photos
I want to be typing my novels on this. While smoking, and drinking enormous amounts of alcohol. To lift the filter. Maybe some of those bent keys don't work and I have to type around an "m" or a "," oh well. I wonder what it was like, before this cursed blinking cursor.

The blinking cursor is making me blind.

I'm convinced the computer is slowly blinding me. I have to use eye drops because of screen fatigue. Cigarettes, red wine, and the clacking of typewriter keys sounds divine.

Haha! Suzanne, there is NO ONE like you!

It's a slippery slope for me. I can type faster than I can write, but the computer is brutal on the eyes.

Also, nothing brings creativeness to the writing table like a few spirits! Enjoy!

Yes, and the wonderful clickity-clak sound of old keys, and changing the ribbon and getting your fingers all inky (as well as cigarette stained). Yeah - love the image too.

I am in awe of the intricate working parts, precise and fluid. Responsive to the touch with imaginative details. A type righter over computer anytime.

Yes, I loved the clickity-clack of the typewriters up and down the hallway of my college dorm, back in the day. Clickity-clack as the end of the semester drew near. Ribbons and whiteout and carbon copies....the "a" that was only half there and the "t" that looked like an "i".

Thanks for reminding me....

My word is rednolo. How apt.

ah... but the backspace.
it makes the blindness worthwhile.

I think about the same thing. So-oooo inconvenient, though. Also, can I steal your typewriter pictures?
